Casio QV-3000EX

I have taken 100s of photos with this camera. Most of the time, I like the results. Most of my "outdoor shots" come out great. Often, while taking photos indoors, I have a problem with flash (intensity?). If I have any white in the photo (teeshirt, wall, sunlight through a window, etc...) it seems like the picture gets way too much light, & can't be fixed. I have even had a similar problem while outdoors, if the sun is shining off to my side (as opposed from my back).

I have tried playing with the flash intensity. Most of the time now, I simply turn the flash - OFF. But that makes for blurry pictures if I am not using a tripod (or resting my arms on a table).

Not sure if I need to alter the shutter speed and/or aperature.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated...:) Tim

I don't have this camera, but it seems that somewhere I read that adjusting the white balance manually or switching to tungsten setting might fix that problem.
