Anyone who reckons the Corinthian League Cup draws are dodgy can explain to me why Watford and the beaten finalists Tranmere are in the first round of the Worthless Cup, but Wimbledon and Wednesday are not.

Yes.... I think I can!

Premiership teams are excluded from Rd 1. The bottom 70 in the league play in Rd 1. Watford finished below Wimbledon and Wednesday but above Tranmere.

The 35 winners are joined by 15 PL teams for round 2. Teams playing in Europe come in in Rd 3. So 50 teams in R2 leaves 25 for R3 who are joined by the remaining 7 PL teams to give a nice round 32!

So who are the 7 teams in Europe?
