I saw a web site that said the S70 had an add on lens, and if it does what is it?

Yes, Sony do a wide angle lens but it needs an adaptor tube also made by sony. The two togeter are going to cost you a lot of money but you can probably find a cheaper way around that if you have any diy skills, Make your own adaptor tube using simple filter holders or the right size and select supplimentary lenses from other sources. Camcorder tele & wide angle lenses are not that high quality but if you happen to have one you can make up an adaptor to make it fit the Sony S 70.

Depends which you have the most of ---- time or money!
