Maric bags debut goal

Former Newcastle misfit, Silvio Maric, scored a debut goal in Porto's friendly with Portuguesa dos Desportos.
The midfielder was one of the best players on field, but the man of the match was the Russian Alenitchev, bought from Perugia.
FC Porto played very well, and the class of new players, such as Maric, Alenitchev and Slovenian Pavlin made the crowd forget the absence of Brazilian superstar Mario Jardel, sold to Galatasaray.
Central defender Ricardo Silva, with a strong header, scored Portos first goal in the third minute of the match and Maric scored 60 seconds later with a fine solo effort.
