Why is it that skinny women are basically all you see on TV? Why is Jennifer Aniston considered so pretty? She's too thin, in my opinion. That can't be healthy. Yet there she is, on TV and dating Brad Pitt. What's up with that?

Money, Money, Money What else could it be? This person's book, a woman shaped woman and a man shaped man are the ideal. Greek statuary and many other things indicate woman with wide hips to make room for an easy passage for her baby (ies) A man, wide shoulders, narrow hips, big muscles and whiskers for instance the beards in classical statuary and paintings. To my mind women should not be over boobed nor men overmuscled - - - a golden average.

Even as a child the women's clothing ads showed slender women.

The crazy thing to me is that man like animals was the one to show all the fancy plumage - horns - colors, but somewhere along the course of history man copped out and shifted the "pretty" duty off on the ladies. I am sure glad because I don't have to do it.

I personally believe that stars like Calista Flockhart, Helen Hunt, Jennifer Anniston... they probably all have developed some sort of eating disorder, although I am not them, so I do not know. But I know that in some pictures, Calista Flockhart looks like she belongs in the anorexia ward of some hospital. It's a very dangerous, vicious cycle, and when the only alternative to looking like you do, is to become skinnier, you know something's wrong. In today's world, there is no "too skinny". I'm not skinny by any means, and to tell you the truth, I would rather look like I do than look like I was about to pass out since I hadn't eaten in days. Just my opinion... though.
