I want to buy a digital camera. I want it to take fotos and print them in A4 size to publish them in a magazine like Cosmopolitan. Is a 2 Megapixels camera enough? Which digital camera would you recommend: Canon S10, S20, another one? (1200$ is my budget)

You have 2 choices:

You can either stick to your budget, or you can get a camera good enough for profrssional photography.

$1200 is nowhere near what you'll have to spend to produce pictures of the quality wanted by magazines.
