If I have Strength

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

If I have strength, I owe the service of the strong.

If melody I have, I owe the world a song.

If I can stand, when all about my post is falling

If I can run with speed, when needy hearts are calling,

Or if my torch can light the dark of any night,

Then I must pay the debt I owe with Living light.

The gifts God gives me I can't repay,

His gifts are most mine, when I give them all away.

True wealth cannot be found in mines

or gold estates or marts.

The greatest wealth is found in loving Christian hearts.

Ask not for easy lives-

Ask to be stronger men.

Do not ask for burdens equal to your strength,

Ask for strength equal to your burdens!

Quite nice to read on a Monday morning, when I'm in a semi-funk. Don't know where it's coming from...groan/grin. But we are all here to do "something" Figuring out that "something" is perhaps the hardest part.

Thanks again, Mar.
