I'm infuriated. Spike wrote to point out an article in the Journal-World describing a threat the to our missile. There is a stealth move afoot to dismantle it, or ship it out of town! The city commission will discuss those plans this Tuesday.

I urge all OKers to take action to let these people know their ideas and actions are intolerable. There's not much left of Lawrence, but the missile is still there. Let's not let this opportunity go to waste!

It will not have escaped any OKer's attention, I'm sure, that the missile has survived the latest attack. The city commission voted to retain it. That'll teach 'em to mess with OK. Hey, we've taken down grocery stores before!
