Euro transfers

Apparently Luis Figo has signed for Real Madrid for circa #40M (that's a lotta pounds!) despite Real already being in debt to the tune of #110M.

Nick Anal Car has signed for Paris St Germain for circa #22M.

Is the world going mad - or just football clubs?

I really believe now that when these clubs talk transfer fees, they are dealing in Monopoly money.....or just giving out their phone numbers, one or the other.

It is just unreal.....how the hell does Anal Car demand that kind of fee, on the strength of ONE cup final.......he was either crap or suspended the rest of last season.......

Alright, so Figo is a great player, but #40 million for f**ks sake.

This sort of thing is all about the ego's of the people who are running/owning these clubs, and nothing whatsoever to do with commercial or business common sense.
Left uncontrolled, this approach will lead football into serious problems, IMO. Crazy!

Not quite, but similar.

Try looking at NUFC plc's financial statements Screach if you're really interested in checking out the validity of my statement.

I bet we're not alone in that either.
