A pub packed full of Geordies in colours, a pint of Broon(on tap, ick, but beggars can't be choosers), coulda been at the Strawbeery last night. And if that didn't make me feel like I was back in Toon, who should I meet up with but Screacher's cousin! He's over with 10 of his mates!

Great night out last night, even though the pub were not the nicest to deal with. They turned our free Broon into $4/pint, gave grief to people coming in without id's even though they were very obviously over 21, and the manager(in his MoanU shirt) could only find us a red marker. Hmmmm. That's alright...we had Howay 5-0 and other videos on 2 big screens and a dozen smaller tv's throughout the place. A few rounds of Shearer (and Robson) Wonderland, "Shearer! Shearer!", etc. :-)))

Lots of singing..getting in our own practice for tonight's game! The dj played some great music. Can't remember the last time I heard the Pogues, Sex Pistols, and the Jam in a bar!!

Sting and Caroline finally made it in around 11(after being once turned away for no id. Had to be the lovely Caroline looking underage...cause we all know what Sting looks like. Hee hee...he's going to kill me when he sees this. >:-)

Anyway. That's it for this report. I'm nursing a bit of a hangover, though not as bad as it sounds like poor Dougal's feeling. Think I'll go back to bed for a little while. Need to be well rested for another day/night of revelry and FOOTBALL!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! :-D
