Hangover - help sought

Can anyone recommend an absolutely failsafe hangover cure. Went out with some mates to celebrate a birthday and got absolutely bladdered on champagne and tequila slammers. Feel worse than I;ve ever felt in my whole, entire life. In fact, typing this posting is like having a brick pounded over my head. I've tried tea, diet coke, neurofen and a cold shower and still I suffer. HELP!!

More alcohol......it's the thing that you least want to face in the whole world right now but it will work!!

Thanks, Gav. I had to walk past a pub to get to the coke shop and almost fainted but I may try a beer of some sort.

Dougal,

I swear by soluble Paracetamol & Codeine tablets (Paracodol). It never fials to shift my hangovers - if you can stomach drinking the revolting stuff! Drink lots of water and eat a full english breakfast. :o))

aspirin, Irn Brue, and a Greggs cheese pastie

A couple of hours of sex always cures my hangover

If you`re anywhere near a health food shop, carbo-veg tablets are good, plus lots and lots of water. Failing that carbohydrates in any form should help! Hang in there - and don`t do it too often!!!(get hammered that is, for the benefit of Gav and Rik). (:o)

Several key ingredients.

The main one is Irn-Bru and lot sof it. Scotland has two national drinks, whiskey to give you the hangover, Irn-Bru to relieve it the next morning.

Grease, as unpalatable as it may seem at the time is also imperative. A full breakfast, all deep fried, none of this grilled nonsense. Again part of the Scottish way of life.

The illogical conclusion of all this would be to moan about the English as well.

The Big'yin wrote a thank you to Mr & Mrs Barr for their Irn Bru back in the days when he drank as I remember. Personally I have never found a cure other than time and that seems to be getting longer & longer, I've been told amphetamines (sp) helps in extreme cases (c;

I've also heard that certain Class A drugs can help....although I've never been near them personally.....

Nearly 6pm now and it looks like I've got another 5 hrs or so to go....

I might just stay here and pick up what I can about the footy before heading home....back in early tomorrow morning...

It's got to be about 30 degrees outside....I went onto the roof for half an hour earlier and it was lovely :))
