Answers

I certainly am....didn't leave until after midnight last night either :((

I'd be really depressed if I wasn't hourly paid ;))

Why are you having to work at the weekend? Is this because you finish over there soon?

I have a technical question. (sorry) I had a `fatal error` message on my computer last night, followed by the instructions, `press any key to quit programme`, or `ctrl, alt, something or other, to re- start the computer`. None of the instructions worked, the on/off button wouldn`t work either, so I had to unplug it to start it up again. Oh err - why did it do that?(:o)

Nope we're having to work through simple bad planning.....development deadlines got stretched so testing has to fit itself into an extremely small slot of time....

You fatal error was caused by Bill Gates and his sh*t operating system....sorry honey I can't be more helpful than that....fatal errors seem to occur randomly on anything to do with that bloke...and quite often it's a case of power off/on to get it going again....that should make Screacher happy ;))

Thanks Gav - that answer`s good enough. Because I no so little about computers, I always assume it`s something I`ve done! (:O)

How`s your weather today? It`s clouded over here this morning - no doubt that is my fault, having decided to invite friends over and dine al fresco this evening!(:o)

Mornin` Softie! It was so hot here yesterday, I could have fried eggs on the patio! Sod`s Law that it takes a turn for the worse at the weekend.(:o)

Sorry...was working :)) I'm actually finding it quite novel to work....as any bbs'er who's been around for the last 4-5 years will tell you I normally get to spend inordinate amounts of time on the bbs cos I do so little work :))

I'm quite chuffed at the minute ;))

It's absolutely BAKING over here....I've got a window seat and I've got the window fully open and the sun is burning my arms and face....nothing like getting a tan at work eh ;))

So you're off to Al Fresco's again tonight Gal? They must be doing very well. Unfortunately, we haven't got one up here as yet.
;o{)

Mornin' folks. Temps warming up here quite nicely in rural Cheshire. The hedge is looking very tempting - might put in a spurt (shut up Gavin). Cloudy to start off with but the sun has started to burn it aal off and the sky is turning a wonderful blue.

Might just ask Al Fresco roond the neet, along with Barbie Q for a rap with Ice Beer. I feel a hamgover coming on aalready. Might even have to boot up the old 486 to get the webcast as my orrifice connection is like Gav's - behind a firewall. Bah.

As for Gal's fatal error, Gav hit the nail right on the heed. Sadly, I get them too since we moved away from OS/2 (RIP).

Mornin` Clarky - did you notice I gave you an explanation of the `chillies` comment on the `good morning all - as I`m out this afternoon` thread? Beware! Kitchens can seriously damage your health!(:o)

Morning Galaxy - yes I've seen your reply. Less lewd than my explanation, but I'm too embarrassed now to elaborate.
I think we're off to Al La Cartes for dinner - I'm told it's as good as those Al Fresco places!! Bon appetit mes amis. ;o{)
