We find the healthcare-solutions announcement
troubling as the division also disappointed
in the April quarter blaming it on a post-Y2K
slowdown in sales of healthcare monitoring
equipment. Agilent's healthcare products
division makes a lot of large, expensive
hospital equipment which had concerns about
Y2K technology failures. That made sense but
continued weakness in that business in the
July quarter raises concerns.
