I read the review from imaging-resource on the Sony DSC S70 - very helpful. Does anyone know the still image capacities and compression ratios for a 64 MB memory stick?????

8 mb Memory Stick = 5 highest quality (2048x1536) images 64 mb Memory Stick = 8x5 = 40 highest quality (2048x1536) images

The arithmetic agrees with my experience with the S70 and a 64 mb Memory Stick.
