John, I can't speak for the HP, but normally no on the Epsons although I have heard of them being forced to do full bleed prints, but even those telling how to do it did not recommend it. I don't recall how it was done, but what is the point anyway? Why not simply trim the print to the image edge?

The 870 and 1270 print full bleed with their roll paper adaptors on 4X6 roll paper. the roll holder is standard with the 870 and an option with the 1270

Epson printers have the capability to print full bleed, as to the higher end cannon printers. HP printers will not print full bleed unless your using their 4x6 paper compartments.
