Primorye power cuts caused by breakdown, coal shortage

VLADIVOSTOK, July 19 (Itar-Tass) - Primorye (Russia's Maritime Territory) is still plagued with hours-long cuts in the supply of electric power. On Tuesday, such disconnections were caused by a breakdown at the Tets-2 thermoelectric plant herem wehreas on Wednesday blackouts have been brought aboyt by coal shortages. The Dalenergo power stations in Artyom and Partizansk have practically come to a standstill because of that.

Electricity is cut off from residential estates and socially important facilities. In Nakhodka, power blackouts have been practised for 7-10 hours a day for three weeks now. The Nakhodka city administration's press service reports that power supply is also cut off from summer holiday camps and sewage pumping stations.
