Bad Boys - Goodfella`s

Had to go to my pit halfway thro last nights CH 4 team pick on the hard men of football, do not know the final select, glad if anyone could fill me in, for those who did not see -: struggling for a keeper only foreign player involved, Shumacker on account of his speed off the grid to flatten that poor Frenchy. Julian "Clary" Dicks got the lb spot,Parky keeps on about Skinner Normanton of Barnsley fame but no-one has ever seen him. Norman Whiteside was included, he was a man when aged 16, Tommy "Annfield Iron" Smith who is now suffering all kinds of ailments, alongside him was Graham Souness, on last nights evidence the most cynical, callous git of them all. Up front was Fash the Bash and then I went up the risers. Guessing the rest I would say, Mackay(sp) for what he did to me hero Len White, Norman "bite yer legs Hunter", Razor Ruddock, and a surprise for you little Johhny Giles (he was a hard B_______d, last one of my select and representing the toon would be Jimmy Scoular. Hey imagine some of the cloggers in the old 3rd div north select, make the above look like fairies.

interesting programme, that was. As I remember, the world's hardest team went

schumacher

harris...hunter...smith...dicks

whiteside...souness...keane...mackay

lee [franny, not bobby]...fash

no place for headcases like kitson or andersson, then. perhaps they're on the bench.

Cheers Shada, Keane was the first choice but it slipped my mind, nice boy when he was at Forest.

And the programme gave Keane the skipper's armband...'cos he "still shows that the hard men are still around", or the like.

Just pleased that cockney Vincent Jones never got a mention. At least most of the ones chosen could play a bit as well as act the thug.
