Okay, has anyone else seen The Patriot? What did you think of it?

Saw it and liked it. The audience was stunned by the violence, but I was glad to see it. Everyone thinks of the Revolutionary War and they think of a bunch of guys standing in line and every so often getting ketchup stains on their shirts and falling down. But war is war no matter how you put it. The technology has finally come around to put the harshness of war into perspective. Glory and Gettysburg got it off to a good start, Saving Private Ryan set the standard, but The Patriot carries it to a war that most people seem to have forgoten. Well, that's my rant. Later, later

I liked it. It was one of those rare moments in my life when I felt proud to be an American;)

There hasn't been a good epic war movie in a long time, let alone any decent movie about the Revolutionary War. And it didn't hurt that Heath and Mel were in the movie, despite the fact that they're both Australians.

I'd recommend it.
