Who wants to know who wins Survivor???

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

TO THOSE WHO DO NOT WISH TO SPOIL THE FUN, DO NOT LINK TO THIS WEBSITE!!!!

I have a link to the site of some people who have found a way to find out from the CBS website who is the winner in the current "Survivor" series. Apparently, CBS has been careless in what they post to the internet.

I won't say, but I will post the link for the interest of anyone who WANTS to know. This isn't just the answer, it's an explanation as to how they found out using the internet and what was posted on the Survivor site. Kind of like one of those logic puzzles.

If you're interested, the link is -- http://www.realworldblows.com/dcforum/DCForumID9/917.html Please don't visit the site unless you WANT TO KNOW WHO WINS -- it's is very clear who the winner is, and the logic is presented. There is no mistake.

There was something about this one on the news the other night. I wasn't paying much attention, but as I recall you went to the network's site, linked to the Survivor site, and then all the goners had X's in the corner of their photos. Apparently only one person didn't have the X, so that was the person they claimed would win. I don't know if this is the logic presented by Tracy's site or not. Gerbil

Who wants to know? Not me - don't have T.V., so don't miss it. Don't much care. Besides, if any of those persons on the island want to really learn survival, let them hang out at any of our homesteads for a month- without the promise of a "big prize" or television coverage. - Then they will have won something much more worthy - self respect, self reliance and a wealth of knowledge not equaled by any article in TVGuide.

Sorry to rain on anyone's parade - just get aggravated when life on television is deemed more important than real life. I'll take the beauty of a sunset after a hard day out in the dirt of the garden any time. How's 'bout you?

I don't want to know but thanks to you my whole family does. I threated their lives if they tell me! We love this show. Survive at your farm? Obviously you haven't been watching this show, I do not have rats crawling on me in my bedroom! I do not eat all manner of anything, rats, grubs, sting rays etc. or make a meal out of sugar cane! We have the good life at the farm, now the real joke show is Big Brother, give me a break that those hens are laying that many eggs after having been moved! Vicki

Thanks, but we don't watch much tv either--we have a set & usually we say to each other --"Oh, we missed the news & weather AGAIN! Sonda in Ks.

I think the whole thing has been rigged from the beginning. After all, look how popular WWF wrestling is...slightly similar?? The creative team probably worked with the production team to select the correct archetypes and then designed the "contests" to suit the contestants, who were picked for certain characteristics to match the profiles.

Honestly, for all the folks who think everything in the US is a giant conspiracy but who believe in this show, heaven help you. A lot of teevee execs and sponsors have made a lot of money off this!!

Just my $.03 of course (inflation).
