Monday

This whole no updating, no computer, fill your time otherwise thing is really getting on my nerves.

At least the French is over with, last night being the finals. So tonight will be the first evening where I am at home for the whole night staring at the walls in confusion.

I mean, there is no reason for me to sit in the chair that I usually sit in without a computer in front of me, but I have no other place to sit, not really. I can't just sit and watch TV, I always do something else at once. I suppose I can read, but not in that chair.

Maybe I'll just go to bed and not get up again. Or take a three hour bath.

Man, what do you do when you are computer-free?

I bought a bicycle. Rode it for hours yesterday; it'd been so long since I've ridden that it felt like the most exhilarating thing in the world. Of course, now I have to wait and see if my rear will ever forgive me...

Learn to knit so that you have something else to do while watching TV? That's my next goal.

Drinking and watching TV usually works for me; sometimes I manage to get some cleaning done.

You go watch X-Men, Kymm.

Actually, I was thinking of doing that! I couldn't get a ticket this weekend, but Monday should be less sold out, one hopes.

Ooh yes, you definitely go see "X-Men". You might even (I'm going to blaspheme here) find an Aussie to replace Russell Crowe in your affections. :) He has blood on his face and everything! ;)

Seriously, being without a modem is bad enough. Being without a computer too? I'd die. I'd probably end up watching a lot of videotapes, reading, and writing out stuff longhand, which I detest.

Heh, and watch me post twice in two different forums about the same topic too. This is me, not paying attention. Oh yeah, and anybody else who was ogling Mr. Jackman in X-Men might want to go check out www.hughjackman.com. He sings too!

See, I can't decide yet whether I have the hots for "Hugh Jackman" or the hots for "Hugh Jackman as Wolverine". The real guy doesn't have the claws... I want claws. I made my mom go with me to see X-Men again though! HA! I can't publicly declare the hots though since I don't want the bf to think that I'm a ninny who only liked the movie for the sweaty man (even though I'm more that geek enough to defend any accusations of that nature).

Ok, I promise this is the last link:

It's a quicktime of some "behind the scenes" stuff and clips from the movie.

Stef, you like the claws? After seeing what happens when you wake him up in the middle of the night? Yikes!

-- Jennifer Wade (jenwade@earthlink.net), July 18, 2000.

*goes to work making some "claw cozies"*

I would endure any and all trips to the emergency room. Of course, in a perfect world, I would have my own set of claws (and a Millenium Falcon, and a puppy, and and) to stab back with and even though it wouldn't kill him, I would die knowing that I am cool because I have claws.
