Bit gloomy

Don`t know about anyone else, but I`m feeling a big gloomy. This season ticket fiasco seems to have flattened everyone`s spirits a bit (not surprisingly I might add). I really hope that it is gets sorted out properly and to everyone`s satisfaction. Perhaps then we can start really looking forward to the new season. Some good news next week on that front would go a long way to brighten the mood on here. And, we don`t even have Softie`s wonderful Corinthians League to distract us.

I shall just have to distract myself by working out which matches I might be able to get to - and who I can impose upon to help me gain admission!(:o)

I found those ones quite easy last year - I guess not many people wanted to make the long trip to the toilet masquerading as a football stadium. Going to be a couple of years before the new stadium is build - but Lordy do they need one!

How many bbsers come down to the Southampton game?(:o)

Interesting thought Ken - I've never been to the Dell. Seeing as how we always seem to get tonked down there it's probably just as well. I guess our luck down there has to change sometime, although I thought the Saints looked fairly useful towards the end of last season under Glenda's direction.
What's the season ticket situation down there Galaxy? If they're not sold out is it fairly easy to buy tickets - say for us lot?

I agree with you Galaxy - I've been feeling really flat since this season ticket farce blew up - still finding it difficult to comprehend how dozy/sloppy/uncaring/disorganised they seem to be, especially over such a highly sensitive issue like this. However, as I've just indicated to Rik, we really need to find out just how widespread the 'problem' is - is it perhaps just a handful who have a problem, or is it much more widespread?

This is the first year for many that I have actually been in the country when we play down there.

I don't know why but it is a ground that so far has alway eluded me.

The last time I was down that way for a game was at Pompey way back.

If I can get hold of some tickets (not sure how many thus far)and get shot of the kids and dog for the weekend, me and Mrs ITK will be venturing that-a-way and probably staying with our friends in Bounremouth for the weekend....all surrounding the match of course....may even do a bit of beach fishing off Henngisbury Head.

So count me down as one......let me know if you can help with the tickets. ;0)

If I remember rightly, I got my tickets from NUFC last year. Just rang the box office the morning they went on sale. The season ticket situation with Southampton, is even worse than ours - remember it is a tiny ground. It is always a sell out! It`s the smallest capacity in the premier league isn`t it?(:o)
