...it's also not my style to discuss how to disrupt a forum, and it's not my style to have a sysop say that I have e-mailed the president of MIT, and Philip in the past, trying to have a forum shut down.

Not my style, but someone's... <:)=

Sysyman,

I understand your unwillingness to commit on any issue since 000101, when you were handed your arse along with a plate filled with crow - and a side order of "30+ years of programming experience" which had expired...

...but to whom are you referring?

Tick Tock?

Oh, by all means, do rebut the original statement, Andy. And if you don't think it applies to you, why even post this? Guilty conscience?

-- I'm Here, I'm There (I'm Everywhere@so.beware), July 16, 2000.

Sysman,

PLEASE let this one go. Andy Ray has, by his own behavior, gained disfavor with almost all of the posters on this forum, including many from the original Debunkers. His game is childishly transparent...and beneath you...don't play.

I'm here,

Why are you still hiding? Chickenshit.

Anonymous,

Yeah right. I believe you're a polly! *grin* Idiot. Only a doomer would attempt something that lame!

Sysman,

You may wanna consider the "polly" advice seriously. How much more are you gonna let AR kick your super-experienced ass? BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!

(Anonymous@Polly.com),

Yea, I guess I'll sorta take your advice and let it be. We've seen the evidence here recently. Those of us from the old TB2K remember Andy, quite well, and know all about him.

Besides, I really am tired of fighting with Andy and cpr. I've even been trying to make up with cpr lately. Hey, it could happen! But making up with Andy, well, I don't know, that's a stretch...

Plus I'm tired of rehashing this stuff. Quite a few people here, even Andy, have said that they respected the fact that I didn't "change my handle" and that I "had the balls" to stick around, and discuss Y2K after rollover. Well thank you very much, but I really am tired of Y2K. It's history, and I don't see what is to ba gained by going over it all again. Life is too short...

Andy likes to tell us that there never was a need to prepare for Y2K. He was correct. I'm also tired of telling him that the majority of governments and corporations felt that there was a need to prepare. So did some people. Some felt more of a need than others. Some did go off the deep end, sell everything, and move to the sticks. So what? I don't think most of the people that Andy QQ's went that far. Most of the TB2Kers were just concerned for their families, about an unknown event, that could have an impact on their lives.

Once again, I will say that I was wrong about Y2K. But once again, I will say that I am not sorry for expressing my opinion, an opinion that I believed to be the truth at the time. And I'm sure not sorry for any preps that I made for Y2K. That has made a better person of me.

So I'll leave it alone for now. At least until Andy starts with his Tick Tocking every other post that he makes, again. And I'm sure that won't take long...

<:)=

PS - blame any typos on 3:30 AM, good night... zzz ...

Sysman,

I'm pleased your proud. So am I. I took care of my family the best way I could with the information I was presented with.

What if it was real?

Oooooooh. Big words, coming from someone who posts as "LMAO2@pathetic.doomer.idiots". LMAO!

Sysyman,

At times silence is golden - at other times it's just plain yellow.

Vindicated Regards,
Andy Ray

-- Andy Ray (andyman633@hotmail.com), July 18, 2000.

No, Andy. In this case, silence *is* golden.

There's really no further need for you and/or Sysman to play this silly game. You've made your points, he's admitted he was wrong, and that ought to be sufficient. If not, then that's your problem and not his.

Just let them go on without you, Sysman. If Andy and CPR want to crow about how they've beaten you or cowed you into submission, then simply let them. Take your lumps, learn your lesson and go on.

Just stop responding.

-- Lurkinator (lurky.formerly@yahoo.com), July 18, 2000.

Andy Ray, I wonder if you have ever gotten useful feedback from real life, useful insofar as being explicit enough for you to understand. Like for instance some woman you've met at a party, who tells you that you are the most boring person she's ever met in her life.

-- Wake up (pathetic@tobe.sure), July 18, 2000.

Andy,

Real snappy come-back. About what I expected from the copy-and-paste king. Just ignore the post, and get personal.

I would call you a moron, but that would be an insult to morons.

Lurkinator,

Believe me, I have considered your advice. But as long as this loud mouth, never had an original thought, vindictive son-of-a-bitch keeps dragging my name thru the mud, I am going to stay on him like stink on shit...

Mr. "I didn't do it" can shut me up when he shuts up. Not before.

Sorry Lurk. I have grown to respect your opinion since you have been here. I consider you another "former enemy" that I have made up with. But I just can't agree with you on this one.

-- Sysman (y2kboard@yahoo.com), July 18, 2000.

This is great - really. Sysyman, while dodging a question, accuses me of dodging a question - how memetic!

Keep dodging, Sysyman!

The least you could do is post a link to your resume like your hero, Steve Helter! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Vindicated and Amused Regards,
Andy Ray

-- Andy Ray (andyman633@hotmail.com), July 18, 2000.

Sysyman,

Not interested in answering the original question? That's okay, I understand. I feel your pain. Committing, after all, is costly - look at your committment to the doomer meme, for instance. You've had to spend hours and hours posting the illogic of your "friends." And where are they now? They've all run off to play at slEZ and left you here to take all the flack. Wow, with friends like that, I think I'd wish the world would end, too.

Oh, by the way, in an upcoming QQ, I post the exchange where Chuck slapped you down for posting all that drivel about the "agreement" between he and I that I would not post at the Hysterium again - remember that "agreement," Sysyman?

Have you ever, ever gotten anything right - ever? You did graduate from high school didn't you?

Not to worry, Sysyman: perhaps your next meme won't damage so many people - and who knows? You may even get that one right! (The law of averages says you're due...)

Never wrestle with a pig. You'll both get dirty, and the pig will love it.

-- (It@still.applies), July 18, 2000.

Andy Ray:

One of your posts above contains these words "drivel about the agreement between he and I.."

Tell me, have you ever heard of something called grammar?

-- Lordy (your@writing.sucks), July 18, 2000.

Nice criticism there Lordy, but you forgot a comma.
