heard it aaall before). How crap are the estate agents in Toon? I can't believe how poor they are. Consistently sending details for 5 bedroom detached houeses in Jesmond when I want a pied a terre in the centre of town if poss. Not returning my calls. Not returning my bank's calls. Turning up late for viewings. Can anyone recommend a half decent estate agent?

One of the better town centre ones is Bairstow Eves on Grey Street - 0191 232 7471.

Tend to deal with the expensive end of the market - but you being a London based Solicitor (?) can probably afford it ;).

I've never bought anything through them, but when i was looking they had the best choice of town centre stuff - especially the Quayside.
