Does anyone know if Diafine and Tetenal Emofin are the same formulation of 2-bath developer? Thanks

Answers

Emofin: Diethyl-p-phenylendiammoniumsulfat plus Metol as developing agents, Na-sulfite and Na-Carbonate in the second bath. Fine grain on 2 stop pushed films, could be a bit sharper. (Tested in Jobo machine at 75 rpm)

I do not have any information on Diafine. But would welcome some ;-)

I think Diafine is proprietary so the chemical composition isn't published. It has been around for years but as far as I have seen... nothing published.

On the box it says "contains Sodium Sulfite and Hydroquoinone." There may not be a secondary developing agent, such as Metol etc.
