Will the HDI-30 SCSI port on a G3 Powerbook handle the information sent by a Nikon LS-30 Coolscan (through its 50-pin port)? I'm about to buy a powerbook and I want to make sure that the scanner and laptop are compatible. I imagine this is a fairly popular combo.

I have used the LS30 on a G3 before, and it worked fine. Not sure if the same applies for the Powerbook version.
