Which one shall i get - Sony F505V or Olympus 3030Z

Hi,

I've got a few quid burning a hole in my pocket and i'm looking to buy a Digital camera.

I've read various reviews and have got my short list down to two cameras, the Sony F505V and the Olympus 3030Z.

Anyone have any experience/comments of either or ideally both of these models to allow me to finally choose a winner.

Regards, Jason

I had a similar choice, but mine was the Nikon 990 and the Sony. I ended up with the Sony. The lens made the choice for me. The optical 5x was important. The Nikon had add on lens, but with those attached, it effected the camera's other settings. I also like the battery system and memory stick system and group of uses. Both use the tilting lens feature which I like. The only bad item on the Sony is the lack of viewer. In the cases were I had difficulty seeing the LCD, I was still able to take the shot, even though viewing was limited. The final picture turned out just fine.
