Sting bonny lad. visit www.cwrr.com this will navigate you through Amtraks reservation/schedule site. Good luck.

cwrr.com? Not heard of that...must add it to my bookmarks. Does it show discounted fares? I was going to suggest Amcr@p's own site: www.amtrak.com but I they don't show mcuh in the way of discounts. Full fare RT on regular trains is $168pp. On Metroliner it's $218pp. Metroliner is just an 'express' train, but only saves you 1/2hr travel time. Travel time is 3-3.5 hrs. Departures on Fri night are 6p, 620p, 7p, 740p, 850p. Saturday morning - 920a, 10a, 1025a, 1130a, 1230p, 130p. Wouldn't suggest leaving any later than that in case there are any delays. For flights, try www.travelocity.com
Fares really depend on when you're travelling, which airports you use, and how many seats are available at a given rate. I just did a quick check for one person travelling. Rates on teh USAir Shuttle(Laguardia to Wash National) are $201.50 departing Fri night or $154 departing Saturday morn/afternoon both returning on Sunday afternoon. The Shuttle runs appx hourly on the hour, though you may need to book specific flights to get the cheapest rates.Alternatively, Delta from JFK to National is $186.50 Fri night, or $149 Saturday. Again with Sunday return. IMO, the train or USAir Shuttle are worth the extra few bucks. Far more convenient at both ends of the trip and more frequent departures. I'd only do Delta if you're flying into JFK from London and want to connect straight away. Otherwise you'd be halfway to DC via Amcr@p in the same amount of time it'd take you to get back to JFK from NYC center, check in, etc.

Well i land JFK 1750 , so thats sounds like the best bet cos this do sounds canny tht S+N are sponsoring , so how cheap cld i get 2 flights for dya think ?

If they've got 2 seats available in that rate category, then each would be at the prices above. travelocity.com is a useful site for booking because they give you all available airlines and prices. I've used them for all my air bookings in the past year or so.
