Everything was fine,i was making my own VCD'S Using "ULEAD video studio 4.0" and "All in wonder 32meg".

That is until today.

My setup still captures but the colours have gone weird????

i will try to explain,

I happened to try to capture again-my usual way-through my SVHS lead into my "AIW 32" - I tried the TV PAYER IN the "AIW 32" just to double check- the problem is this:-

I GET THE USUAL QUALITY PICTURE-ONLY TROUBLE IS IT CONSISTS OF ONLY ABOUT SIX COLOURS-YES JUST SIX COLOURS?-THE COLOURS HAVE ALL GONE WRONG AND IT LOOKS LIKE BRIGHT GREEN AND RED AND YELLOW etc,NOT MUCH OTHER COLOUR IN THE PICTURE????

ANYONE KNOW WHERE THE CORRECT COLOURS HAVE GONE?????

Hey Clive this wont help you much, but it may be the super vhs connector. here is why i say that. I have a hitachi hi8 and every (97% of the time). I run it in to my system via the super vhs cable (using dazzle). It for some reason will not see it as the super vhs siginal i have it set as, but changes it to a "composite2". Its driving me nuts. ironically if i run in a super vhs cable from my laser or dvd players it works fine. But the result i got was along the lines of the problem you are currently having (only when using my HI 8 via super svhs).
