I would like to find the names of the members of the Episcopal Committee, Judicial Council, and the leader of each district's delegation sitting at the Conference. Can someone direct me to this?

If you went to the conference, this information should be available in the delegate kit. The Episcopal Committee consists of a representative from at least each district: I forget whether it is one only, or one clergy and one lay.

The Judicial Council consists of about 9 members (imagine that!). Thier names are given in the beginning of the Judicial council report. Having just read that last night, I can share some of the names with you: William A Marsh, President, Patricia Newberry, Secretary, Rev. Rudy Coleman, Chaplain, Dr. Yvonne Walker-Taylor, Rev. Jno. DeLeon Walker, and at least 2 others whose names escape me at the moment.

For historical information, look in the table of the 1996 discipline. Many of the committee members may still be the same. The chair for the Episcopal Committee this year was the Rev. Goodwin Douglas (2nd District).

FOr the leaders of the delegation, you would need to check the delegates directory.

THE EPISCOPAL COMMITTEE CONSISTS OF TWO MINISTERS AND TWO LAY. THE LIST OF MEMBERS ARE LOCATED IN EACH DELEGATE'S KIT ON PAGES 17 AND 20 OF THE OFFICIAL GENERAL CONFERENCE DIRECTORY. ALL NINETEEN EPISCOPAL DISTRICTS ARE REPRESENTED. THE NINE JUDICIAL COUNCIL MEMBERS ARE PICTURED IN THE FRONT COVER OF THEIR REPORT. MARSH IS PREZ. DR. YVONNE WALKER-TAYLOR IS VICE-PREZ. ATTORNEY HAROLD WHITFIELD IS SECRETARY. ATTORNEY PATRICIA MAYBERRY IS ASST. SECT'Y. REVEREND RUDOLPH COLEMAN IS CHAPLAIN. JUDGE GLENN JOHNSON, REVERENDS GRANVILLE REED AND JNO. DELEON WALKER AND JONATHAN BAKER ARE ALL MEMBERS. AS FAR AS THE LEADER OF EACH DISTRICT'S DELEGATION, SOME OF THE NAMES ARE EVIDENT FROM FREQUENT MOTIONS MADE SUCH AS WATLEY FROM THE 1ST, BRAXTON FROM THE 2ND, AND TELLIS FROM THE 10TH. THESE ARE SOME OF THE VOICES HEARD ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PRESIDING OFFICER BEGAN EACH BUSINESS SESSION TO MAKE SURE A 51% QUORUM WAS IN PLACE. THESE NAMES ARE LISTED IN THE DAILY REPORTS FOR SALE AT EACH SESSION.
