The most exposed examples of autobiography in Poe's works is the frequent allusions to the death of beautiful women (because his young wife died of tuberculosis). This is a recurring theme in his writings and was clearly an obsession of his. I direct you to tales like Eleonora and Ligeia, and poems such as Annabel Lee.
