Brand new Fiat Barchetta two seater. And still get enough change to pay for a hard top, ski rack and one year insurance.

Or a Fiat Coupe.

New pair of boots: #50. #9,950 for something worthwhile - result!

Swifty,

Yeah, across here you can get them easily for way under that. Fiat doing big discounts at the moment. In addition I'm exempt from VAT (a sort of diplomatic perk).

Are you interested?

Sting the MX5 is a mazda, I should know, I had one and exported it back to the UK, it was nice.....On a serious note if anyone is interested in importing a Japanese car (when the exchange rate gets beeter, you'd make no money now) let me know as I'd be able to help out.

Toon ex,

l would be interested, but, l have to have space for a small 5 year old... aswell as two lumpy old ones

if you could find a classic 911 circa 1970ish l would forever be indebted to you...

Two questions,

What does Fiat stand for......

and don't Mazda make light bulbs?

-- Anonymous, July 11, 2000

I used to have an MX5, got it new as an "h" reg. Wasn't that impressed so traded it in for a "j" reg MX3 a the next year, Wish I hadn't it stunk, Literally of rotten eggs. the dealer parmed me off with the "It's the new catalytic convertor, it'll wear off" excuse. It didn't. If I had #10k nowadays I would go for a couple of year old Subaru Forester. I am showing my age here aren't I?

Swifty,

The search starts now. Don't forget that anything I find will be LHD.

ITK,

Fiat stands for "Fabrica Italiano Automobili Torino" or, if you are a Juve supporter; "Forza Iuve, Abasso Toro" (Toro is the other team in Turin......... bit like Sunderland)
