Can you hear him snoring?

I think Screacher is really a spy.....he goes to far too many meetings to do anything productive......It's got to be a cover for something.....Dougal must be his Miss Moneypenny cos they're always having secret trysts in train stations these days (probably just a cover so she can give him his latest assignment)

Id be getting worried Dougal , but maybe hes just not seeing you enough ? ;-) 10/10 for effort mind . Does he look better through glass ?

Spooky, you bet Doug, at the time approx of your posting I was talking to a visiting service engineer from Blyth about The Toon and this forum, of course giving Screacher a mention, For the life of me could not remember his reet name, If your lurking Screach, the guys name is Eric Thielman (Bombed the chippas in Blyth ha ha), lives at 4 Hedley Avenue, is one of the Hedley Perverts from Morpeth, Purvis that is

Yeah he's either snoring or having trouble convincing the client to spend 4 times as much for a machine that has 5250 data stream capability over a graphical-type server with the same specs.

Screach, who makes up these pricing schemes?

Hmm, I looked out of the window when he was meant to be passing and saw (from my great height in the building), a heed that looked like his. I waved at it but it jumped into a black cab.

Pete as long as users pay them Big Blue will charge the prices. We're victims as well.

-- Anonymous, July 11, 2000

Next time he comes round, I'm gonna get him so pissed, that he falls into a drunken sleep, Then I can nick his laptop, full of government secrets and sell it to the Sun.

Not me folks - I'm in Edinburgh right now.

BTW - what do you make of the Tyne Bridge. Saw it today all covered up. Oops - perhaps that gave away some of my itinerary for the day.

PS. I wasn't asleep (at least not when I was in the City). Mind you, the 100 in the audience were. But that's nowt new for them that work in the City, eh?

Josh/PeteT - shut up you tarts! You'd think we were a bliddy charity.

Buff - nivvor hord of him.

-- Anonymous, July 11, 2000

You know, I was thinking of taking my business over to Sun/HP/Compaq. Hmmm, what do you think Josh?

Aww shucks Screach, you know we love IBM. I hope they're paying you well at least. So what's with the covert operation?

-- Anonymous, July 11, 2000

So you've set your alibi up very carefully Screach, but why not just come clean and admit you're stalking Dougal!

-- Anonymous, July 11, 2000

Er, I mean stalking as in following around surreptitiously, no other meaning intended. (Shut up Gav!) :o))

-- Anonymous, July 11, 2000

What other kind of stalking is there?

-- Anonymous, July 12, 2000

hahahahah that is line of the week absolutely fantastic : - )

Bugger.

Screacher's gonna go Ape when he reads this thread! (Tee Hee)

-- Anonymous, July 12, 2000

Not half as ape as Dougal will.

-- Anonymous, July 14, 2000

Oh Great Screach,

You just had to bring it back to the top of the pile!

Anyway Dougal started the thread so it's her fault. Maybe she was dreaming about you? Ooops. That's it I'm off before the brown stuff gets airborne. :o))

Sick-o fantic comments like that will get you neewhere Pilgrim. You'll have to try harder. It's your round and you're driving next time!

-- Anonymous, July 14, 2000

This one had 19...jolly scientific all this, Windy, have you been watching Star Trek?

-- Anonymous, July 17, 2000

Perhaps it's the date the 'question' was first posed?

-- Anonymous, July 17, 2000

Possibly some time on the 14th something blipped. Any threads created after this can no longer be replied to. Up for de-bunking of course, and doesn't really help any....

Star Trek Softie? I was just trying to be enterprising by finding what data triggered the failure, captain.

...Is that the time? Beam me up, Scottie.

I'm trying desperately to avoid saying anything utterly sad like how it's effecting 7 of 9 threads, but am worried that it might just slip out...

-- Anonymous, July 17, 2000

Totally lost me there, Softie - 7 out of 9?. Not that that's particularly difficult...and as for being sad ;-))

-- Anonymous, July 17, 2000

A really sad person would be able to say, 'follow this link' at this point:

Fortunately, I have a life and wouldn't know how to go about looking for pictures of Jeri Ryan even if I wanted to...

Since this thread still works:

Dougal, first you see the phantom Screacher then the phantom Pit Bill. Aren't you worried? :-))
