I have tried to make a video CD and so far I am not having much joy. I am using Xing Encoder 2.0 and nero 4.0.7 to produce the cd's. If I burn the film onto a CDR it does play at all, if I burn it onto a CDRW it tries to play it, but fails.

Also does anyone know where I can download a copy of video pack 4.0/5.0 from.

Hi,

I had the same problem. Some DVD players are set not to read CD-R cd's. I used CD-RW with great sucsess. Did you find Video pack ?
