I found a Yashica DSX-1000 for $249. Is this a decent body or no? I don't know what lens it had with it(found at a pawn shop). I also found DSX-500 for the same price. I'm looking for a good intro slr and want to know if i should keep looking or if i've found something good. They also had some other ones but these were the ones that caught my eyes for some reason or another.

Keep looking. If you are inclided to Yashica, you can order a brand new Yashica FX3 Super 2000 with a 50mm f/1.9 lens for $194.95 USD out of B & H in New York. The thing about pawn shops, or at least the ones I've been in contact with, is that they'll screw both the seller and the buyer. They probably only paid $20 for the $249 cameras you're looking at.

I just re-read me post. It should read 'inclined' and not 'inclided'.

I agree, stay away from pawn shops. If you want to look for used stuff try KEH. As you know, I think the FX3-S new from B&H is a great buy! Especially with a Zeiss lens!!
