need responses quick. Name for new calf

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Our lovely cow Anabelle just had a Hereford/Jersey heifer!!!! Mama and baby are doing wonderfully well. We didn't get to witness the birth, because she had it very early this morning. She is small and a rusty sort of brown, with a white head. Anyway, there is a division in the house. Olivia wants to name it Lucy. Amelia wants to name it Buttercup. I vote for Peek-a-boo and Owen, Dad and Mom don't really know, (or care?). So, which of the names do you think is best? Lucy, Buttercup or Peek-a-boo? Which ever gets the most votes, we'll use. Please respond ASAP!!

if she is going to be a pet i would all the names in a hat and pick one,if she is for food or sale i would not name her , it makes it harder to get rid of them.

Sorry the same post is posted below. I did it by mistake, (as if I'd do it on purpose) Please post your answers on the other one, so it will be easier for me to keep count. Thanks! Does anyone know how to delete posts? Is it possible? Oh well.

I wanted to name my cow Blossom, Sweet Pea :o) Mama cow's name is Anabelle and we could't have another 'belle', because we're keeping a neighbor's cow named Merribelle !!
