MCV-CD1000

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

I am re-posting because I apparently mis-typed my e-mail address. I have two questions.

1.) Is sony still on-pace to have the MCV-CD1000 out in retail outlets in early August?

2.) Since I have no experience with burnable CDs this may seem stupid to some, but are the 3" cds locally (or at least by mail order) available. Are these the same as 74 minute cds? Thanks.

Robert,

haven't heard anything pointing towards the CD-1000 not shipping in August. However, I don't have any inside info on this matter.

The 3" (77mm) discs are just plain CD-Rs and can be recorded in a normal CD-burner and played in a home stereo. Available at www.cyberguys.com for less than $2 each.
