Thanks to our millennialist y2k angst and prep we have several quality short and long arms and zoobiette has found a new love in shooting sports(I.D.P.A.). |Did you who bought guns for fear of post blackout C.H.U.D.S keep them or sell them back?I feel rather sorry for the "neener-neener" poly types.They missed out on some of the greatest zeitgheist energy since the 50's nuclear scare.Oh well,perhaps G.Bush jr.will give them something to get worked up over.

Ironically, many "pollies" were also gun owners. I doubt many folks have sold firearms. Given the recent trend of increased regulation, many folks have been prompted to purchase weapons while they are "still legal." I have no intentions of selling my recent purchases and do not feel "cheated" in the least by missing out on the hysteria.

Is this a survey? I haven't sold one gun, nor given up one box of ammunition, after seeing the Walmart ammunition pratically wiped out at roll over. There are people with guns and plenty ammunition, out there, somewhere. Now if devine intervention would show me how to load it. I borrow a handle, I saw somewhere in Cyberspace.

I still have both rifles, both pistols, and both shotguns... plus thousends of rounds for all of them... granted I haven't bought a gun for at least 5 years, and I always buy ammo in case lots, but no, I havent sold any nail drivers :-)

Netghost, the automatic nail guns can be ugly. I would not wish them upon my ugliest enemy.

Lock, I once saw a guy nail his foot to a deck with a 16 penny nail gun, about an inch inwards from the web of his toes (hard to tell with his boot on :-), and yes, it was ugly as nail guns "set" the nail.

I was also fortunate enough to staple my finger, as high as I could reach, to a wall , with a finish staple gun running 1 inch staples, and yes, they also set the staple... kinda lets you know how long you can stand on your toes before you have to pull free.

My whole point is... don't disable the safeties on your nail guns, it can hurt !
