The camera is only obout a year old and was dropped from a short distance onto a carpeted floor and it completely stoped working, dead as a door nail, can some one help, I am willing to trade up for a 400 seires zoom 2.1 mega pixles if some one will give $100.00 off for the 220L I have.

Most any camera store should give you a $100 or more discount off any obsolete(more than one generation down) digital camera. I got a Oly C- 2000Z for $400 vs. $799 sticker price without a trade in.
