Ever since I heard it played on a juke box in a Waffle House at 3 A.M. four weeks ago, I have been obsessed with finding a copy of R.E.M.'s cover of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" (which I know is on "The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonight" Single). Can anybody tell me if this single is still available because I can't find it anywhere (including online music shops and music auctions)? If it's not available, would it be too much to ask if anyone who own's the single and a CD burner could mail me a copy? I'd be willing to send someone a copy of "R.E.M. Collected Singles" (which, unfortunately, doesn't have my song) or "R.E.M.: Essential Demos" (a strange burnt CD a friend gave me which is apparently early demos from Murmur). If anyone can help me, I'd be incredibly greatful. Thanks,

Have you heard of 'The Automatic Box'? It contains four CDs each with b-sides from Automatic and Green singles, and was released in Europe. 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight' is on disc 4.

I know that you can get most singles that were released since 92 in HMV in Dublin. And i remember the sidewinder single for sale with the lion sleeps tonite b-side on it. Send me an E-mail if you want me to help you in any way
