SMB, you beat me to it - he's rapidly climbing my 'hate' list and he certainly (compared with the Italian goalkeeper) did not desrve to be on the winning side.Looks like he's already had some attitude lessons from Taggart!
P.S. Deschamps was $hite, Desailly was dirty and the goalscorer was the same tw@t who kicked the goalkeeper in the head a few mins. earlier. I certainly wasn't 'supporting' Italy, although I think they were slightly the better team on the night - apart from Del Piero, of course!
