Cherri,
To insert an image use this form:
<img src="http://www.name.com/image.jpg">

-- spider (spider0@usa.net), July 02, 2000.

It appears that Cherri's second attempt was foiled by "invisible" newline characters that sometimes get inserted into one's answer when there is no discernable white space separating two lines. Hitting backspace at the break point will erase such a "newline."

I'm confused. These are YOUR mom and dad, Cherri? I don't think color photos even existed when MY mom and dad got married. When DID color photography come into play?

Anita:

The first that I know about is 1903. If interested you can go here:

Color photo

I hope that your parents aren't that old.

What year was that picture of your mom taken? I want to go back in time and have sex with her. The only problem is that she is likely to fall in love with me, will not marry your dad, you will never be born and will not post this picture here, so tell me quick before you disappear.

How come your mom isn't wearing a white gown, not a virgin?

-- (ahead.of@her.time?), July 02, 2000.

Anita:

By the way, the site has some neat old photos. They are still lifes or scenics because early on the film had an ISO of about 1. I think that these are mostly in collections. But very nice anyway.

Te black and white picture are my Mom and Dad. And yes, she was a virgin, from what I hear she was still one 3 days after they were married. I don't know who the picturs of the other two are

-- Cherri (sams@brigadoon.com), July 02, 2000.

3 days AFTER they were married? Dad having a bit of a problem there? Too bad they didn't have Viagra in those days!

-- Bob Dole (erectile.dysfunction@=honeymoon.bummer), July 02, 2000.

It wasn't Dad, Mom was all of 17 and very nieve, in planning the wedding, she didn't take into consideration the "time of the month", and before I get replies about that not being a problem, in those days their little "booklets" made sex a no no during menstruation.

-- Cherri (sams@brigadoon.com), July 02, 2000.

Cherri, that's just WAY too much information for me. But probably an accurate social commentary. Just not something I had given much thought too - fortunately.

-- Bingo1 (howe9@shentel.net), July 03, 2000.

WHAT black and white picture? Do I have something disabled that doesn't allow me to see this? [no brain jokes, please.]

-- Anita (Anita_S3@hotmail.com), July 03, 2000.

I have yet to see a B&W pic myself Anita. This is confusing. Fortunately I'm neither rocket scientist nor brain surgeon - the world is safe for another day.

Cherri, I remember last year on the old TB2000 when you posted a pic of yourself in an Air Force (?) uniform. Put glasses on this shot of your Mom and you could be twins. Its that Geena Davis smile that you both share. This picture looks like circa late 30s, early 40s correct?

-- Ra (tion@l.1), July 03, 2000.

Cherri,

Looks like your dad had a David Niven mustache. So did mine. Was your dad English? Mine was.

The blonde at the top of the thread is the young Vanna White. I used to date her. She was ok but I got tired of the compulsive clapping and letter-flipping. She would do it at the most inappropriate times.

They were married in 1947.

Got any pictures of your oldest daughter? Preferably in real living color, in a bikini, or Fredericks of Hollywood, or birthday suit. ;)
