I know Sony doesn't ship a flashpath with its newer Mavicas. Does Olympus or Others? It would seem to be more important for sony to do this, for the type of media the new mavicas can use.

Well, in the UK my Oly C2000Z certainly did *not* come with a FlashPath adapter. In fact, it came with neither rechargeable batteries, charger nor main power cable...

Personally, I'd boycott the Sony gear because they've seen fit to muddy the waters by introducing another "standard" memory card. (Anyone remember their attempt to introduce a new compact cassette standard? Of course not - no-one bought the El-Cassette and, quite deservedly, even though it was *better* that compact cassette, it died a quick death.)
