be still my heart

I caught the re-run of All in the Family last night, but missed Be Still My Heart last week... I saw it the first time it aired but really wanted to see it again! Does anyone if/when it will be re-run again this summer??

I don't think they will be rerunning it again this summer. Generally the networks only rerun a show once. You may have to wait until it finds its way to the TNT reruns sometime in the fall.

Actually, I think it might be shown again in Oct. This summer hiatus will be longer than usual because of the summer olympics, so I think that NBC showed BSMH and AITF early so that they could show them again right before the new season starts. I don't think that they have enough episodes from last season to fill the huge gap that there will be before the new season starts. But I could be wrong. Does that make any sense?

They still have to show the first 5 or 6 episodes from the beginning of this season don't they?

They don't HAVE to, Andie, but they probably will. I'm with Rachel that they'll probably show a number of reruns and maybe reruns of reruns (they've shown some twice already throughout the regular season). Since it will be a longer summer than normal (the Olympics are over on October 1st BTW), there's always the possibility that they'll show something else of Thursdays at 9 (CST) too...like CBS has been doing with one of my favorite shows on their network. If you have cable, Mary, TNT will have the whole season sometime in the future, possibly this fall.

Actually, they have highlighted the more popular episodes in the past. After George Clooney left and The Storm aired, they showed Fathers and Sons again, from season 4. I thought it was funny because they had already rerun it but they showed it again and I even think they reran it AGAIN a few months later. It was like they thought they needed some good Doug shows to keep people interested.

I thought they showed many of the early episodes in season 6 in between the new episodes in the past few months. For instance, "The Peace of Wild Things" (?) has been shown twice, and aren't they about to show Humpty Dumpty for the third time?

I don't think so. My TV Guide for next week is giving the episode description for "Be Patient."

But check the discussion thread further down on "The ep. on July 6" a couple of preople have a TV guide saying "Be Patient" is on, but most of us have Humpty Dumpty listed, and the NBC promo on television said that this coming week is "All Star" week - with special guests on all of the series - the promo said ER's special guest is Alan Alda, which means an early season epi, not Be Patient.
