Well, it wasn't really something I read, it was something I saw. I was flipping through the magazine, and there was this article about self-esteem, being happy with your image, and your weight and all. Then on the next page there was an article about how to lose weight. It kinda made me sick. And in these magazines they often have sad stories about people coming over anorexia? I wonder who drove this guy's are girls to it...

Yeah.. did I miss something? All of the sudden Katie's having sex???!!! That's cool!

I think the weirdest..(and I use this term loosely..Sickest is more difinative)..thing that i saw in a magazine was a personal letter in my boyfriend's porn mag about this girl who had a fetish for really fat, gross ugly men. It was disgusting..and very detailed. echhh!

I also read once about how to give your cat an "Effective Massage" It said to pinch the tips of the cat's ears and stuff..like accupressure shit. weird.

Heh. Plenty of wierd things. But if what you were reading from was Cosmo, Katie, I can completely see it.

I actually work at the magazine fulfillment company that Cosmo subscriptions are processed at (CDS in Red Oak, IA). It's really depressing- you have to sit there and type from those cards, all of which are plastered with some skinny little bimbo or some people having sex. Not exactly the most fun in the world. Maybe I should be glad that I usually only have to work with the Spawn of all evil... er... I mean Reader's Digest. ^_^ Hearst Corporation, which owns the company that I work at actually publishes Cosmo, Redbook, etc. Our branch of CDS does mags like Cosmo, Redbook, Oprah, Sesame Street, Beckett, Readers Digest... the one in Harlan has YM, and a bunch of food ones.... I'll shut up now.

Heh. Good point Kel. Magazines are depressing. At least most of them are.
