Clarky,

he means Ciara, or are you taking the P1$$???

-- Anonymous, June 29, 2000

LR - I'd start saving right now if I were you. And make it whiskey not vinegar!

-- Anonymous, June 29, 2000

NO WAY Screach...DO NOT tell me she's even considering it...please. That's just lude..ludi...luda...stupid :-)

Naa...man of honour me.....Malt it is..as long as the Happy Chappy doesn't choose Talisker:-)

-- Anonymous, June 30, 2000

As I said, start saving. You could start by not going to OT for the season - that would mebbes get half a crate. I have to warn you Ciara's already started looking at jobs over here. Surely you knew that?? I mean, who would keep coming over to UK just to watch a couple of football matches if they weren't serious?

I 'love it ' when LR fu(ks it up all the time .. you're your own worst enemy bonnie lad , she'll be here by year end her and Gav are looking at aplace together ; - ))

Sting, That's how effing rumours are started......get back in the toilet with that bloke!

-- Anonymous, June 30, 2000

I know you do Sting..it's what makes you a sorry individual. Still after all that's gone between me and Jonno I'm sure he'd invite me share a wee dram or two with him.

Hope for Kia Ora's sake (IF she comes) that you lot avoid relegation in the next few seasons.......it's well possible...relegation that is and you know it.

-- Anonymous, June 30, 2000

In the same way that Relegation is possible for Man Utd? We all know it's possible but it's not likely to happen is it.

-- Anonymous, June 30, 2000

DB....of course. But we ain't be dabbling with 14th place for the last few seasons..AND we have one or two goalscorers.

-- Anonymous, June 30, 2000

Why have two when one can score 30 in a season. :-)

Arrgh I can see a Shearer v's Cole thread starting, so I'll say I'm only winding LR!

Seriously, though from your point of view you can't see us flirting with relegation can you. We weren't 14th last season.

-- Anonymous, June 30, 2000

DB..Not doubting Shearers capabilities...but let's face facts....he's getting on a bit and you only have a crocked jock to back him up. When Shearer as cripped a couple of years ago...you just couldn't score.

BTW...WGB's an International (was)...Andy Cole isn't :-)

-- Anonymous, June 30, 2000

Dwight Yorke is (an international) so what's your point?

-- Anonymous, June 30, 2000

STEADY Tony :-)...it was a joke to go along with DB's line "I can see another Shearer v's Andy Cole" debate. It's my way of saying Shearer has to be better than AC cos he's an international :-).

Chill dude....I'll just get the blame for starting another argument.

Let's wait till the season starts...and boy!! what a start it will be.

WATPOAE

Just trying to get another bet going that's all or have you seen the light yet?

-- Anonymous, June 30, 2000

Seen it?..I'm Blinded by it!..wrapped up like a deuce another runner in the night !!

I'll take on any bet usually..I know..I'm a turd!!

PS..have you ever read THOSE lyrics?...wow!!

LR,

You don't realise how lucky you are. When Bobby Robson finally (after about three/four years) sorts out our striker options for the coming season we'll all be relieved.

I've mentioned before that if Dunc can play 66% of the season I'd be happy becaue when he is totally fit he is awesome. As a ManU fan you know that all too well, even when he played for Everton.

No, if we get the back up for Shearer and Dunc we'll be up there.

I'm not going to start on the poor old AS v's AC arguement. Poor sod has been battered and thrashed far too many times on here! :-)

Here's to a nice 2-0 victory over your lot and I hope Stam takes the penalties. Have you heard that St Helens had representatives were watching him last night with a view to making a switch to Rugby League, as a goal kicker.

Springsteen is it?

He has some corking songs, songs that make you drive fast if you know what I mean. A real showman on stage too.

-- Anonymous, June 30, 2000

DB..I do like the Big Yin tho'..even when he fluked that goal against us last year..and Idon't care what Softie says....he fluked it :-)

Yip Yap eh....what a man....what a penalty :-)

Tony, yeah it was, but Manfred Manns Earthband made the song big....in the same sort of way that the Quo made Rockin all over the World big...and that ain't theirs either.

MMEB are one of those bands that nobody has heard of until ya mention Blinded by the light, The Mighty Quinn and Davey's on the road again.

-- Anonymous, June 30, 2000

You're right Lancy, Dunc was actually trying to hit the corner flag and the ball flew into the top right corner by accident...:-)

-- Anonymous, June 30, 2000

What do you mean when he fluked that "turn and top corner from edge of the area" whilst playing for Everton?

You must remember that one, I recall you lost that game.

-- Anonymous, June 30, 2000

DB..I don't remember much about games we lose. I don't like losing:-(

-- Anonymous, June 30, 2000

Don't remember? Well it went something like this the ball was played forard to Yound Duncan who with one touch flicked it to his right handside, turned (all in one movement, which we've seen somewhere else!) and rifled it into the top left hand corner of the goal.

Bliddy marvellous goal! Sorry LR couldn't resist.
