I have a Canon Powershot A5 and since we upgraded to Windows 2000 the driver doesn't work anymore. I've tried to get the driver from Canon's website but that was usless. I have the same problem with Windows XP. I finally gave up and purchased a Compact Flash Card reader for $45 (Australian Dollars). Now to import the digital images I insert the Compact Flash Card into the reader which is connected via USB. The images are downloaded approximately 10 times faster than via the serial port too. Hope this helps. :)
