06/26/2000 From Staff ReportsElectrical power outages were reported throughout Edmond but affected mostly the southwest, an Edmond city employee said.
The first outage was reported about 8 a.m. Lightning striking an electrical transformer was the cause of the power loss, the employee said.
Power was restored to most residents by 6 p.m.
