Why my TMPEG can't encode 640x480 mpeg file to Pal-VCD ?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

Dear friends,

Maybe I'm the one who is stupid, but I don't know how to encode my 640x480 mpg file, captured by AIW128 6000 kbps to become vcd compliant.

I've loaded the VCD-PAL template in TMPEG, then after encoded, the result is just the same, like it was never encoded. (6000 kbps and 640x480)

It even worse for my 20 sec 352x288 mpg file, which after encoded the duration in MediaPlayer is 2 minutes, and when I play it, the time arrow jump to the end of time after played the 20 sec video.

I also blind about Multiplex, enhance Multiplex, DeMultiplex, bla-bla-bla...which are in the TMPEG ====> MPEG tools.

Maybe anyone would please be kind to inform me, which site should I go for HELP on using TMPEG ?

Thank you very much for your attention.

Regards, Sunar.

As far as I know TMPEG only encodes from the AVI files. Try capturing in AVI and use TMPEG to encode it to mpeg. It'll work that way.
