I downloaded (twice) a SVCD clip (mpeg 2) (m2.p) from a website and burned it to cdr using Nero 5.0.0.9 (fully working demo).

I then put it into my multiregion Pioneer DVL 919 standalone player and it would not play?????

I then tried it in my multiregion Creative CDR ROM and again it would not play?????

Please help.

You must burn the mpeg2 file as a SVCD in Nero. I have done this successfully using Nero and it played OK on a DVD player. Does your DVD player read CDR? There are no region locking functions in VCD or SVCD.

Svcd is not supported by your DX2R creative card. you can not read SVCD with it. Sorry. I have the same probleme. Jof
