PADUCAH, Ky., June 26 (UPI) -- Federal
government documents indicate radioactive
and chemical contamination from the Paducah
uranium plant has entered the western
Kentucky food chain, the Louisville Courier-
Journal reported Monday.

This should be a major story. Study after study has shown that small daily doses of cancer-causing agents add up over time and cause cancer in the general population. The fact that this is in the "deep groundwater" has wide-ranging implicatiion for public health. It is a disaster for other species as well.
